davidson thomas: dream sculptor: archeologist

Davidson Thomas just mounted an air conditioner in his garage and has turned it into a studio.  It's still summer in Florida and so this was essential. He's been working on building chairs out of resin molds and uses a gas mask. Above is a photo of his senior exhibition. Davidson is a collector. In these pieces he's pulled a variety of wooden and antique found objects together and sketched them with ink, then burned, stained, burned and illuminated them.
